The Buccelletti wine-estate is a producer of quality red and white wines and excellent extra-virgin olive oil, located in the Valle di Chio, Tuscany. Buccelleti is a young company that is committed to enhance the potentials of a territory that has always been suitable to vine-growing, also through its brand new line-up of spirits, including grappas and brandies. Our wines are produced with grapes harvested from over 12 acres of vineyard surface. The vinification is done in the Santa Cristina winery, on the border of Tuscany and Umbria. Our extra-virgin olive oil is pressed from olives grown and hand-picked on our 30 acre olive grove. Agricola Buccelletti Winery is a producer of DOC and IGT wines in Castiglion Fiorentino, Tuscany, in the heart of the pristine Valle di Chio. Wine and olive-oil making is a family tradition since the ancestors of the maternal grandparents of the current owners, Michele e Domenica, founded the estate in the Valle di Chio in the 1600s.

The vineyards were re-planted in 2002 on land which has always been devoted to the production of quality wines. Today, the estate comprises over 12 acres of vineyards yielding Sangiovese, Merlot, Syrah, Canaiolo, Aleatico, Vermentino, Trebbiano and Grechetto. Since 1999, under the guidance of expert agronomist and oenologist Dott. Guido Fatucchi, the estate has achieved a real qualitative leap in the production of quality wines. Our olive-groves spread over 15 hectares, with over 5000 olive-trees arranged on the terraces where they had been planted in the past centuries. Varieties include Moraiolo (80%) and Frantoio and Leccino (20%). The average height is 450 metres a.s.l. The soil is marly; trees are trained to a polyconic vase. Olives are hand-picked between October and December and processed in a continuous cycle.
