BALDETTI, Cortona

Baldetti Alfonso, with his wife Paola and their sons Daniele and Gian Luca, has inherited the legacy of a generation of vignerons that since the 60’ dedicated to their vineyards in the territory of Cortona, in the south-east of Tuscany, more specifically in the small village of Pietraia (295 meters above the sea level). Currently the area planted company covers approximately 15 hectares, 12 are implanted in the years 2000-2001 and the other in 2012, with a density of 5,000 plants per hectare. From the different varieties cultivated (Syrah, Sangiovese, Merlot, Chardonnay and Grechetto) our wines: Crano, Marius, Chagrè, Baldo, Leopoldo, which tell the story of the land and family. All labels in their individual identity, are characterized by a fil-rouge of freshness and highly recognizable. The company has opened a new luxury winery in 2012, which soon became a landmark and important meeting for the various actors in the world of wine through events, wine tastings, seminars and sought synergies with the world of art and music.
