The history of the Parchettificio Toscano began very simply with an excellent carpenter master craftsman. Franco Mannucci, who began woodworking at the beginning of the 1950s, founded the company whose history dates back over 60 years. In 1967 he was registered as a member of the master craftsmen association as a wooden flooring fitter, and after several years in this field he set up his own business at the end of the 1970s. Today, under the direction of his sons, Gabriele and Giuliano, the company has become one of the leading names in Tuscan industry. Originally set up as a traditional wooden flooring manufacturing plant, over the years the Parchettificio Toscano has evolved and expanded its production range considerably: the company now provides six different collection ranging from traditional solid wood planks to the prestige, hand made Pontevecchio flooring.
